Marijuana, also called weed or a blunt, is a plant that is used to get high. It can be smoked in blunts, joints or pipes. It can also be mixed with food and eaten.
Marijuana has different effects on different people. For example, some people feel happy and relaxed while others feel paranoid or anxious. It all depends on the type of marijuana that is used and how much of it is taken at once. Marijuana has many benefits including helping people with chronic pain, depression and anxiety disorders.
There are many risks of smoking marijuana. Marijuana is a psychoactive drug that can lead to addiction. It also has some negative effects on the brain, lungs, heart and reproductive organs. Smoking weed also has been linked to mental illness, such as depression or psychosis, so for some, it maybe helpful, for others, it can cause more problems.
According to a new research study, smoking marijuana can cause more harm to your lungs than cigarettes. The analysis, published in the journal Radiology, found that marijuana may be connected with an elevated risk of emphysema compared to smoking cigarettes alone, as well as more cases of respiratory system infections compared with those who smoked little or no tobacco. Only cigarette smokers over the age of 50 who smoked a minimum of one pack a day for 25 years were contained in the study, so bear that in mind. Its not all doom and gloom for weed smokers, however.
The American Lung Association says smoking in general is harmful to lung health, and marijuana has been shown to contain “many of the same toxins, irritants, and carcinogens within tobacco smoke.” On the bright side, however, inhaling cannabis releases certain chemicals that help relieve migraine symptoms quickly. When compared to the trendy electronic cigarettes and vaping pens, which were linked to lung damage called EVALI, a floral or dry herb vaporizer heats dried cannabis without exposing users to dangerous toxins and heavy metals.
